“Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.” Ephesians 4:19
The phrase “being past feeling” speaks of the Gentiles separation from God. It speaks of their callous or hardened nature. Since they have refused to be one with God, they do not have union or fellowship with God. They are in a state of separation and therefore are distanced from God. It is for this reason that they can and do indulge in unclean behaviors.
They are among the unmarked and insignificant. The Greek understanding for the word lasciviousness is to be unstamped, ignoble, or to be unknown. Therefore, they are among the unknown by God. They are impure, immoral, and their motives are driven by greed and covetousness. They are lustful in nature and their appetites are never satisfied or content. They lack the spirit of self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
Are you led by the unclean spirits of lust, envy, or greed? Do you lack self-discipline?
