“Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:” Ephesians 4:18
Is your understanding darkened? Has your mind, emotions, and judgments been compromised because of the vanity of your mind? Has your mind and decisions caused you to be alienated from the life God has intended for you?
What are the signs of compromise? The inability to think clearly, the existence of extreme emotions, being unable to see the spiritual reality behind a given situation or occurrence, operating and viewing things from a temporal or earthly perspective. When we operate with minds of vanity, darkened understanding, and in alienation from the life of God ignorance is able to flourish within us. When it does, it means that our hearts are full of blindness we are unable to see.
As children of light, we are to possess the ability to see with clarity. We are to walk with revelation and knowledge. Ignorance is not our potion. What are the fruits of your life? Do you have knowledge? Oneness with the life of God in all areas? Do you have a seeing heart? If not, where is the blockage? Are you willing to remove every hindrance?
Step 1
Meditate on the scripture above. In reverence, seek Holy Spirit to lead you in all truth concerning your standing before God.
Step 2
Record all that you hear, see and understand in your journal book.
Step 3
Take action by faith according to the leading of Holy Spirit. Record what actions you have taken.
